These terms are written for the current private beta and waitlist version of Mise. They may change as the product moves toward broader availability.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Mise, including the Mise website, waitlist, private beta, recipe import features, meal planning features, grocery-list features, and related services.
By joining the waitlist, creating an account, connecting a third-party service, importing a recipe, or using Mise, you agree to these terms.
Acceptance of terms
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use Mise. If you use Mise on behalf of a household or another person, you are responsible for making sure you have permission to submit their information.
Accounts
You are responsible for the activity that happens through your account or household session. Keep your login credentials and connected-service access secure. Tell us if you believe your account or connected service has been compromised.
Mise is currently a private beta. We may limit access, change features, pause invitations, or remove beta access as we develop the product.
The service
Mise helps households remember food preferences, import recipe source material, create source-backed recipe drafts, plan meals, and organize grocery lists. Mise is not medical, nutrition, allergy, legal, or financial advice.
AI-generated suggestions, recipe drafts, extraction results, grocery lists, and meal plans may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for checking ingredients, allergens, cooking temperatures, food safety, nutrition, and source material before cooking, eating, buying, or sharing anything.
Acceptable use
You may not use Mise to violate laws, infringe rights, scrape or misuse third-party services, bypass access controls, upload malware, interfere with the service, or submit content you do not have the right to use.
You may not use Pinterest or other connected-service features to automate actions without specific user intent, collect credentials, collect session cookies, misrepresent your relationship with another platform, or violate that platform's rules.
Your content
You keep ownership of the meal notes, preferences, recipe edits, household information, photos, text, and other content you submit to Mise. You give Mise permission to host, process, transform, display, and use that content as needed to operate and improve the service.
Recipes, images, Pins, websites, videos, and other third-party source material remain subject to their original owners' rights and terms. Mise stores attribution where practical and uses third-party source material only to provide the product features you request.
Third-party services
Mise may interact with third-party services, including Pinterest, recipe websites, authentication providers, hosting providers, analytics providers, email providers, and AI providers. Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
When you connect Pinterest or another third-party service, Mise uses that connection only for the features you request. You can disconnect connected services where supported or by contacting us.
Limitation of liability
Mise is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mise will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, food-related harm, third-party service failures, or errors in generated outputs.
